Dear
Parents,
Re: Anzac Day – Dunsborough Community Service
Our school
has been invited to have a leading role in the Anzac Day Ceremony this
year. I am hoping our student leaders
will be available to be involved in the ceremony and that our Faction Captains
will represent our school and community in the formal section of the march.
I am also
encouraging as many of our students as possible to attend in formal (winter)
school uniform as a sign of respect and appreciation for those who have
sacrificed so much so that we can enjoy the lifestyle and freedom we have
today. Those not involved in the
ceremony and march are asked to walk behind the parade as a group.
Everyone
is required to gather outside the Post Office at 10.40am with the parade
leaving at 10.50am. The service will
take place at the flagpole on the foreshore.
To assist
I am asking parents to complete and return the form below to Mrs Delane by Friday morning so we can be
organised before the school holidays.
Thanks and
God Bless,
Des Wilkie
