Week 4 Update
Hi everyone,
It has been a wonderful start to our term...we have been working hard and learning so much already! Some photos will follow so that you can see what we have been up to!
A few dates and reminders for your diary:
Wednesday 25th February - Whole School Mass. At this Mass our Leadership Group will receive their badges. It will be a special occasion and we would appreciate if as many parents as possible are there to help us celebrate.
Thursday 26th February - OLC Swimming Carnival. This will be held once again at the Geographe Leisure Centre in Busselton. A programme will be sent through shortly. It would be great if as many parents as possible could come along in their colours to help support the children.
Please make sure that you return the permission slip if you have not already done so.
Friday 27th February - Camp Fun Run. Sponsorship forms went home last week, please encourage your child to seek donations for this fantastic fundraiser. All monies raised goes towards camp activities for your child. Please come down and support us...feel free to put your sneakers on and walk a lap or two!
Saturday 28th February - Year 6 Mass. As part of the P & F efforts, we are asking that as many Year 6 families as possible come to celebrate Mass on Saturday night. If your child is asked to participate and you are unable to attend - please try to swap with another child if possible.
Friday 13th March - Peron Reserve - Oiling of the Observation Deck. Every year the Year 6 students under the guidance of Mrs Mary Hughes go to the Peron Reserve Observation Deck to give it a once over and a tidy. This is a wonderful initiative for the students to be involved in and they really love it, especially as they are giving to the community in such a great way. If you would like to join us we will leave school at 1.30pm and return to school at approximately 2.50pm on this date.
Year 6 Camp - (4th - 8th May) A huge thanks to those people that have registered their interest. I will be meeting with Mr Morrison soon to finalise all details and I will be in touch with those lucky people soon!
