Design Technology - Create a Recycled Game

Design Technologies - Create a Recycled Game Activity
As part of the Design Technology curriculum this term, the students will begin planning a game that can be played with students in Years 1-3 during their sports lessons using only recycled materials.

Students will need to bring in materials from home that they will use to create their game. The students will have time to plan their game with their group this afternoon, in which they will identify the purpose of the game, the rules to how it will be played and what materials and tools will be required.

On Thursday 16th November, the students will play their games during the sport times for the Year 1-3 students to see how effectively their game will work.

They will then need to create a presentation sharing their evaluation of their game to be presented the following week. Time for this will be given in class.

If you can please assist your child with the sourcing of any free materials (raid the recycling bin or dad's shed - with his…

Year 6 Graduation Dinner - Digital Copy

31st October 2017
Dear Parents,
RE:  Year 6 Graduation Dinner
All parents are hereby formally invited to the Year 6 Graduation on Friday 1st December, starting with Mass at the Church at 5:30pm, followed by dinner in the Hall at school beginning at approximately 7.15pm.
If there are extenuating circumstances that a parent is not able to attend we would like to extend the invitation to include an older sibling or close family member. Please see me to discuss this further.
To help the Year 5 parents cater for the evening we need to know how many adults will be accompanying each Year 6 student. Please advise below of any dietary requirements.
Could you please complete the “Graduation Dinner” form below and please return it to me by the Friday 17th November 2017
It is BYO for the adults and we ask that you drink responsibly.
Kind regards,
Mrs Caitlin Delane "

Week 4 - Term 4

Good afternoon,

My apologies for the delay in getting a post out this week!

A very big thank you to those that were able to join us last night for our home mass. It was a lovely opportunity to come together to reflect on this important Sacrament and spend time among friends. Thank you to Michael and Sherylee for opening their home to us, we really appreciated it!

REMINDERS - WEEK 4
Peace Posters - These are up for display in the hall, students in Years 3-6 will vote on the entry that best reflects the theme for 2017. The parents of the winning entry will be notified by tomorrow afternoon to hopefully attend Assembly on Friday. I won't tell the students who won so it would be great if you could keep it hush!

First Eucharist - Is on this Sunday 5th November. It would be great to see as many of the Year 6 students there to support the Year 4's as possible.

Graduation - I sent home a copy of the note with your child today. The Year 5 parents need to know numbers so if you can please ret…
