Week 5 - Halfway through the Term!

Good afternoon parents,

 Welcome to Week 5!

 Camp 2016 - I would like to say a massive thank you to all the parents that came to support and encourage us whilst we were away last week. We had a fantastic time together and it would not have been possible without the good spirit, sense of adventure and the sense of humour!

 I would also like to say a very big thank you to our Year 6 students. Their behaviour, manners and attitude were all excellent for the whole week and I was very proud of them for getting in there and giving everything a go. They were enthusiastic, cooperative and respectful of others and it was wonderful to see a different side to many!

 I have shared some of the photos taken with the students - as you can appreciate there is a large number! If you or your child would like copies of these photos, please provide a large USB with your child's name clearly marked and I will copy them on for you.

















As always, despite our best efforts there is a small amount of lost property that accumulated throughout the week. If your child is missing anything, please come over to the Year 4/5/6 wet area for a look!

 If you provided any medications for your child to be used whilst on camp, please come and collect these from me.
REMINDERS

Sneakers - Please make sure that your child is wearing sneakers that are predominantly white or light grey in colour as per our current uniform policy.

If for some reason your child needs to wear shoes other than white, for example, if your child's shoes are wet or in the car on the way to Perth, can you please make sure that you write a note explaining this situation. 

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Bunbury Eistedford - A note will be sent home with those children that are in the choir outlining the important details. If you can please sign and return this permission slip by Friday 10th June.

Guitar - For the remainder of the term, students will begin working on our Musical - Shrek. They will be working on this during their Music lessons in the coming weeks.

Mathletics - Complete assigned tasks 5-10 minutes.


Times Tables App – complete 5 minutes practise.

Written Report – Due Friday 8th June. Upoloaded to Showbie before or by 11.30am on the due date.

Hi Parents and students, What a great weekend to be down south! So special to be able to witness such a unique swell direction and see the whole coastline light up. Week 6

Good afternoon, Welcome to Week 6...I can't believe how quickly the term is getting away from us! Notes - Graduation Dinner, iMovie Night & Adventure World Thank you to those who have returned notes. If you have any to return, can you please send them in by the due date. I have placed copies of all notes sent home last week on the blog. At this stage you can't print them off directly so please see me if you need another copy. Mackillop Orientation Day - 25th November - I will put on the blog a copy of the letter (in a separate post) that was sent home by Mr Ben Horrocks a few weeks ago for your reference. For those students not attending Mackillop in 2016, please note that your child is welcome to stay home and enjoy a day working on their Year Books. If your child will be coming on the day to OLC on the 25th November, can you please advise me as soon as possible. Final Reminders for Tomorrow

Good afternoon, Just a couple of reminders for tomorrow... Students are to come in free dress with clothing appropriate for the beach...thongs are fine.  Please make sure your child comes with suncream already applied, packed recess and lunch, towel and a hat. All students must wear a rashie! We will arrive at the beach at 11.45am. We will have lunch when we arrive and then we will hit the activities. You are welcome to join us for any part of the day...your child permitting!! We will be departing at approximately 2.30pm to come back to school.  Reports will be handed to the students back at school at the end of the day. Students are welcome to bring their Leavers shirts and graduation books to be signed. They can bring iPads to get the last of the photos from Tuesday...they will be deleted on Monday.
