Week 10 Update...The End of a Very Busy Term!

Good morning and welcome to our last post for the term.

I would like to start off by saying a massive thank you to you all. I have so appreciated all that you have been doing to help throughout the term in addition to having your child ready for school each day!

I am very lucky to have such a supportive parent group that willingly puts up their hand to help in so many ways...I really appreciate and value all the support that has been given to myself and the students!

It has been a very busy one with Retreats, Confirmation, Home Masses, School Photos, Cross Country, Shrek, Football games and a whole lot of learning!

Shrek Photos - I have put the photos taken during Shrek preparations on Web Dav Nav for the students to access, if you have any photos it would be greatly appreciated if you could get them to me on a USB so that I can share them with the students. Thank you!

REMINDERS

Learning Journeys - These are on this afternoon beginning at 3.15pm until 5.45pm. They will however conclude promptly at 6.15pm.

If you need to come earlier or later please feel free to do so as I know that a lot of you have not had a chance to put your names down as yet.

When you arrive, I ask that you come and take a photo with your child...you will then collect your Learning Journey Guide and you and your child will find a space to sit where you can look through all that they have to show you.

There is quite a lot to get through so if you need more time please take what you need.

I ask that your child brings their iPad to the Learning Journey.

Once you have finished, I have a 2 Stars and A Wish sheet to be completed by you and your child...this will be used for a display for next term.

Sports Carnival - Our Jumps and Throws will begin tomorrow and Wednesday concluding with our Carnival on Thursday. Your child will need to wear their sports uniform all week with their Faction shirts.

Please let me know if you intend to take your child home at the conclusion of the carnival on Thursday.

Friday 23rd September - Please remember this is a Pupil Free Day.

HOMEWORK

Please see below for the Homework that has been assigned for this week

Reading - Read for 10-15 minutes each night. Write this in your diary and have your parents sign it.
Spelling - Complete your LSCWC of all list words using alternate colours.
Maths - Complete Unit 29 on Pages 88-89 including the Think Box activity.
Yearbook - These are an ongoing project and they will need to be taken home on Wednesday so that your child can work on them over the holidays.

Have a great week and stay warm!
