A Final Word for the Term!

I thought I would do this one on its own as there are so many things to be said!
Aladdin - Firstly, I would like to say a huge thank you to all of you for all of your support this semester and particularly throughout Aladdin. The children were amazing and I am so very proud of them all! Thank you for my lovely gift, it was very kind. Thank you to all of our amazing helpers, it was great working with you all and we are so appreciative of all that was done!
If you donated any props to be used in the play, they are in the Hall ready to be collected. Thank you once again!
Confirmation 2015 - If you have not sent in your paperwork, can I please ask that you do this as soon as possible. I need to get it all collated ready for Father Ian.
Also, please make sure that you are working on your letter to be given to your child at the Confirmation Retreat. This is extremely important for the children to receive and they treasure it so much.
Year Books - Next term we will begin working on our Year Books. The children will be given the books to use and I have given them access to all of the photos that have been taken since they arrived at the school. Your child is welcome to bring in any photos from other schools if applicable to be included for that Year.
The students will need to save the photos to their camera roll on their iPad and they will need to arrange for these to be printed at home. We will not be able to print any pictures at school. I will give them a timeline for each week so that they know what will be worked on next.
They will need to bring in all the required supplies themselves - think scrapbook style lettering, card, hole punches, cut out letters etc. The books themselves are A3 sized.
I will send home a note this week outlining what will be required.
I know Spotlight has a lot of great reasonably priced bits and pieces that would be great! We will begin working on this in Week 2 and it will carry on through til Term 4.
If you would like to come in and spend some time helping out on a Friday afternoon 1.30-2.15pm we would love to have you!
Grandparents Day - It was great to see a few of our Grandparents join us last week! This is a wonderful opportunity for the students to spend time with their families.
Award Card Winners - Week 10 - Congratulations to Jack and Isabella on receiving their Award Cards this week. I am very proud of the work that they have been doing!
Lastly, thank you for a wonderful term. The students have worked so hard and have continued to grow and mature beyond expectation. I am really enjoying working with them and I am looking forward to the next two terms!
