Week 8 Homework

Good afternoon,

Please see below for the homework for this week.

I have also set some tasks on Mathletics for the students to try to review our current work.

 Spelling – LSCWC & Phonological Activity

Reading – 10-15 minutes. Write in their diary and have it signed.

Maths – Times Tables App – 5 minutes max. This score is to be written into their diary.

Mathletics
Complete the given activities. You need to be doing at least one activity per night. I am only able to set 10 activities per person and I am not able to do this until you have completed all assigned tasks.

 BTN - Popplet Activity to be completed on the story of your choice -Due Thursday 10th September.

Important Reminders - 

 Photo Day - This Thursday (10th September) we will be having our school photos. Can you please make sure that your child comes dressed neatly in their full winter uniform. Please make shoes are polished, haircuts have been booked in if necessary and hair is clean and brushed. (No tights)

 Shoebox Appeal - Please check with your child what they have decided to bring in. All items including $2.50 for postage need to be in by Friday 11th September.

 First Eucharist - This Sunday 13th September the Year 4 students will be making their First Eucharist. It would be wonderful to see as many families there to support the candidates as possible. Mass begins at 9am.

 Year 6 Cake Stall - this will be held this Friday 11th September. Please make a cake/slice etc to donate as all funds raised will be used directly by the class. If you are able to help man the stall can you please let Bernie or Alie know directly.

 Assembly - The Year 6's will be presenting their major assembly on Friday 18th September (Week 9) so please mark the date in your diary. We would love to have as many parents there as possible. A note will be coming home shortly outlining any costume requirements etc.

Term 1, Week 9

Hi Parents and students, What a great weekend to be down south! So special to be able to witness such a unique swell direction and see the whole coastline light up. Can’t wait for the next cyclone swell in 9 years! Affirmation of the Week: Camp: I am still on the hunt for some dad volunteers for the Year 6 camp. Let me know if you are interested. Chrism Mass: Please make sure your child has brought their permission slip into me tomorrow morning. Some children have suggested that they have misplaced their note. I have said to them to have Mum or Dad write a note that they give them permission to travel by bus, to and from St Patrick’s Cathedral in Bunbury. Please refer to the ‘Chrism Mass Blog’ for any other info. Holy Week: The Year 5’s and 6’s will be presenting their part of Holy Week celebrations on Wednesday morning at 9:00am in the hall. Final Reminders for Tomorrow

Good afternoon, Just a couple of reminders for tomorrow... Students are to come in free dress with clothing appropriate for the beach...thongs are fine.  Please make sure your child comes with suncream already applied, packed recess and lunch, towel and a hat. All students must wear a rashie! We will arrive at the beach at 11.45am. We will have lunch when we arrive and then we will hit the activities. You are welcome to join us for any part of the day...your child permitting!! We will be departing at approximately 2.30pm to come back to school.  Reports will be handed to the students back at school at the end of the day. Students are welcome to bring their Leavers shirts and graduation books to be signed. They can bring iPads to get the last of the photos from Tuesday...they will be deleted on Monday.
