Confirmation - What an Amazing Week!

Good afternoon,

I just wanted to take a few moments to share with you some of the amazing experiences that we have had this past week in the lead up to Confirmation.

We shared a special Reconciliation at the Church with Fr. Ian in which we could share our feelings about Confirmation.

Thank you again for all your support!

We enjoyed a wonderful Retreat with Mrs Sue Barton in which the children were asked to liken themselves to wind and fire, complete a crossword on the Pentecost story, challenge their knowledge of Patron Saints and create sculptures depicting the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit.

After morning tea, we shared some private moments reading our letters that our parents and loved ones had given to us. It was a wonderful experience to be a part of as the students were very touched. It was a very emotional experience.

We enjoyed a feast for morning tea and lunch! A very big thank yo to all parents for the beautiful food you sent in for us to share a massive thank you to our volunteers who came in to prepare the amazing food!

After our beautiful lunch we went down to the Church to practice for the big event on Saturday night.

On Saturday night we all came together as a family to celebrate our Confirmation. It was beautiful, everyone looked amazing and there was an amazing feeling in the Church. Thank you to everyone who came to make it so special.

Thank you to everyone who shared this week with us, we are very grateful for all that you have done!

Have a wonderful week,

Mrs Delane
