Welcome to Week 1 - Term 3

Good morning parents,

 Welcome back for the term! I hope that you enjoyed the break.

 I sent an email last week outlining some important information about Confirmation, please take the time to have a read. I will see all candidates and their parents at our Workshop on Thursday night beginning at 5.30pm in the Hall - prayer buddies are not expected to attend on Thursday night.

 All students and their families are expected to attend the Confirmation Commitment Mass on Saturday 22nd July beginning at 6pm.

 Please make a note of the dates in your diary.

 Family Camp - I will be sending home forms for Family Camp to the Year 6 families this as you are being given priority in attending. If you are interested in attending this year, you will need to have your forms returned to the office by Friday 28th July.
Please see below for the Homework assigned for this week.
Reading - 10-15 minutes written in their diary and signed.

Spelling - LCWC for all list words. Please make sure their work is being done neatly.

Mental Maths - Unit 18 of Think Mentals Book 6 - Pages 53-55.

BTN - No assignment this week

 Year Books - I went through this with the students yesterday and they were given a copy of the outline. This is due Week 6 of Term 4 and will be worked on in class and at home.

Term 1, Week 9

Hi Parents and students, What a great weekend to be down south! So special to be able to witness such a unique swell direction and see the whole coastline light up. Can’t wait for the next cyclone swell in 9 years! Affirmation of the Week: Camp: I am still on the hunt for some dad volunteers for the Year 6 camp. Let me know if you are interested. Chrism Mass: Please make sure your child has brought their permission slip into me tomorrow morning. Some children have suggested that they have misplaced their note. I have said to them to have Mum or Dad write a note that they give them permission to travel by bus, to and from St Patrick’s Cathedral in Bunbury. Please refer to the ‘Chrism Mass Blog’ for any other info. Holy Week: The Year 5’s and 6’s will be presenting their part of Holy Week celebrations on Wednesday morning at 9:00am in the hall. Final Reminders for Tomorrow

Good afternoon, Just a couple of reminders for tomorrow... Students are to come in free dress with clothing appropriate for the beach...thongs are fine.  Please make sure your child comes with suncream already applied, packed recess and lunch, towel and a hat. All students must wear a rashie! We will arrive at the beach at 11.45am. We will have lunch when we arrive and then we will hit the activities. You are welcome to join us for any part of the day...your child permitting!! We will be departing at approximately 2.30pm to come back to school.  Reports will be handed to the students back at school at the end of the day. Students are welcome to bring their Leavers shirts and graduation books to be signed. They can bring iPads to get the last of the photos from Tuesday...they will be deleted on Monday.
