Week 8 - Musical Week

Welcome to Week 8!
Thank you for all that you have done to help get the kids ready for this week, we had a fantastic matinee performance yesterday and I was very proud of all of the students. It takes a lot of courage to get up there and sing and dance like no one's watching and they did so well!!
Classroom Routines - This week is an unusual one but please be aware that we will be operating as normal. We will be working through a modified learning programme that bears in mind that the students are a little on edge and will get more tired as the late nights catch up to them.
If your child is still sleeping in past the time they normally need to get up please feel free to bring them in a little later on Thursday and Friday morning. You will need to sign them into the office on arrival at school.
I would appreciate an email or call to the office if your child will be coming in later so that you don't receive a follow up call.
Absentee Notes - I still have a large number of these outstanding, your child will be bringing these home today. I would appreciate your checking your child's bag to see if they have one.
It is very important that you indicate the reason for your child's absence for all sections and then sign and date. As a legal document, I must have these for our school records.
Hair and Make Up - Your child will be told today (as well as placed on the class blog) what time they need to be here for Wednesday/Thursday and Friday nights. We ask that you bring them for the time specified and not before.
Please make sure they are wearing foundation and mascara, thongs or ugg boots and come with their water bottles. A zip up jumper would also be helpful to avoid any make up mess ups!
Please make sure that you bring in your biscuits by tomorrow morning to allow the supper coordinators time to work out what they have. Tick your name off the list!
Shoebox Items - Please make sure that your child has brought these items and their $2.50 in by Friday of this week. We will be packing them up and sending them off on Monday and all contributions are extremely important!
There is no homework assigned for this week other than reading, resting and being extra helpful around the house!
