Week 3 - Homework and Other Information

Good morning,

 Just a couple of reminders for this week:

 Leavers Shirts - Please send in your child's shirt with their name on it by Friday 26th February. The sooner that we have all the shirts in the sooner we can get them to Hip Pocket to begin the printing.

 Camp - Thank you to those parents that have responded to the call for help during our camp week. I have had a large number of dads say that they are keen to come but I am in need of a mum or two to assist. If you are able to come with us for some or all of the week, please let me know.

 Parent Information Evening - Thank you for your attendance at our meeting last week. For those parents that were unable to make it, I sent home the information booklet with your child on Friday. Please let me know if you have any questions.

 Parent Reps - Another big thank you to Caroline Rolfe for nominating herself to be the point of contact for Year 6 this year. She will be well assisted by Vanessa Hodge, Ann-Sophie Saint and Amanda Prestipino. Thank you for putting your hands up ladies, I really appreciate it!

Read a book of your choice for up to 15 minutes. Write the name of the book in your diary and have it signed by your parent.

Spelling –
Complete your LSCWC of all list words using alternate colours and complete the Phonological activity for 10 list words.

Maths –
Complete Day 1 of Unit 4 of Think Mentals on Page 13.

 Mathletics - Complete 10 minutes if possible.

Times Tables App – complete 5 minutes practise.

BTN –
Written Report due Wednesday 25th February.
Reading –
Read a book of your choice for up to 15 minutes. Write the name of the book in your diary and have it signed by your parent.

Complete Day 2 of Unit 4 of Think Mentals on Page 14.

 Mathletics - Complete 10 minutes if possible.

Hi Parents and students, What a great weekend to be down south! So special to be able to witness such a unique swell direction and see the whole coastline light up. Week 6

Good afternoon, Welcome to Week 6...I can't believe how quickly the term is getting away from us! Notes - Graduation Dinner, iMovie Night & Adventure World Thank you to those who have returned notes. If you have any to return, can you please send them in by the due date. I have placed copies of all notes sent home last week on the blog. At this stage you can't print them off directly so please see me if you need another copy. Mackillop Orientation Day - 25th November - I will put on the blog a copy of the letter (in a separate post) that was sent home by Mr Ben Horrocks a few weeks ago for your reference. For those students not attending Mackillop in 2016, please note that your child is welcome to stay home and enjoy a day working on their Year Books. If your child will be coming on the day to OLC on the 25th November, can you please advise me as soon as possible. Final Reminders for Tomorrow

Good afternoon, Just a couple of reminders for tomorrow... Students are to come in free dress with clothing appropriate for the beach...thongs are fine.  Please make sure your child comes with suncream already applied, packed recess and lunch, towel and a hat. All students must wear a rashie! We will arrive at the beach at 11.45am. We will have lunch when we arrive and then we will hit the activities. You are welcome to join us for any part of the day...your child permitting!! We will be departing at approximately 2.30pm to come back to school.  Reports will be handed to the students back at school at the end of the day. Students are welcome to bring their Leavers shirts and graduation books to be signed. They can bring iPads to get the last of the photos from Tuesday...they will be deleted on Monday.
