Week 4 Has Arrived!

Good afternoon parents,

 Welcome to Week 4, it has arrived with a gust and a bang! 

 Please see below for a few reminders for this week.

 Mission Markets - These will be held on Friday between recess and lunch. Please make sure that you send in two packets of wrapped chocolates or lollies by Wednesday 10th August.

 Please ensure that your child also comes to school on Friday with a small amount of money to spend at the markets.

 We will be holding a small prayer service on Friday morning during Assembly and we would love it if you were able to attend.

 Absentee Notes - Please make sure that you fill in and return the outstanding absentee notes that have been sent home recently so that I can keep my records up to date.

 Homework Reminder - Can you please ensure that your child is bringing you their diary filled in to be signed each day. Important information is written in there so it is a great way to assist your child with their personal organisation. Please also make sure that all spelling, maths - mental and Mathletics, reading and any other tasks are being completed.

Read a book of your choice for up to 15 minutes. Write the name of the book in your diary and have it signed by your parent.

Complete Day 1 of Unit 23 of Think Mentals on Page 70 – Including the Think Box activity on Page 72.

Mathletics - Complete assigned tasks 5-10 minutes.


Times Tables App – complete 5 minutes practise.

BTN –
Written Report Due Wednesday 10th August.

Other –

Year Book – Writing and collecting photos, planning for the assigned pages.

Shrek – Listening to the songs on the CD they were given.
Reading –
Read a book of your choice for up to 15 minutes. Write the name of the book in your diary and have it signed by your parent.

Good afternoon, Welcome to Week 6...I can't believe how quickly the term is getting away from us! Notes - Graduation Dinner, iMovie Night & Adventure World Thank you to those who have returned notes. Term 1, Week 9

Hi Parents and students, What a great weekend to be down south! So special to be able to witness such a unique swell direction and see the whole coastline light up. Can’t wait for the next cyclone swell in 9 years! Affirmation of the Week: Camp: I am still on the hunt for some dad volunteers for the Year 6 camp. Let me know if you are interested. Chrism Mass: Please make sure your child has brought their permission slip into me tomorrow morning. Some children have suggested that they have misplaced their note. I have said to them to have Mum or Dad write a note that they give them permission to travel by bus, to and from St Patrick’s Cathedral in Bunbury. Please refer to the ‘Chrism Mass Blog’ for any other info. Holy Week: The Year 5’s and 6’s will be presenting their part of Holy Week celebrations on Wednesday morning at 9:00am in the hall. Final Reminders for Tomorrow

Good afternoon, Just a couple of reminders for tomorrow... Students are to come in free dress with clothing appropriate for the beach...thongs are fine.  Please make sure your child comes with suncream already applied, packed recess and lunch, towel and a hat. All students must wear a rashie! We will arrive at the beach at 11.45am. We will have lunch when we arrive and then we will hit the activities. You are welcome to join us for any part of the day...your child permitting!! We will be departing at approximately 2.30pm to come back to school.  Reports will be handed to the students back at school at the end of the day. Students are welcome to bring their Leavers shirts and graduation books to be signed. They can bring iPads to get the last of the photos from Tuesday...they will be deleted on Monday.
